Day Wise Itinerary
Day 1 – Airport to Leh
Leh, Ladakh is the largest province within the North Indian State of Jammu and Kashmir. It is surrounded and bisected by some of the highest mountain ranges in the world. Running in a generally northwest to southeast direction through Ladakh, the great Himalayan Range separates the valley of Kashmir from Ladakh.
Upon arrival you will meet a Himalayan Luxury Bivouacs representative who will transfer you to hotel in Leh. Upon arrival, proceed for check-in. Since you are reaching an altitude of 4000mtrs approx from 200mtrs in just one hour’s time, you may be excited and would want to explore everything very first day however it is your body which needs to get acclimatized to such height and climate. We sincerely suggest that you rest on the first day for body acclimatization.

After breakfast visit for local sightseeing of Hall of Fame, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Hill, Sangam/Confluence View where Indus & Zanskar River
The Hall of Fame: Located near the Leh Airfield, is a museum constructed as well as maintained by the Indian Army in the memory of the soldiers who had lost their lives during the Indo-Pak It is also termed as a memorial for the war heroes. This building consists of two floors. While on the ground floor, there is information about the brave soldiers and a souvenir shop but on the first floor, there are artefacts of various wars (mainly Kargil war) such as the weapons used during the war and some important documents, related to the same. There is another section dedicated to the Siachen glacier.
Gurdwara Shri Pathar Sahib: It is situated on the Srinagar-Leh Road, 25kms before the Leh. It is very beautiful and it was created in memory of the founder of Sikh religion and the first guru, Guru Nanak Dev
Magnetic Hill: It is a so-called “gravity hill” located near Leh in Ladakh, India. The “Magnet Hill” is located on the Leh-Kargil-Srinagar national highway, about 30 km from Leh, at a height of 11,000 feet above sea level. On its south side flows the Indus, which originates in Tibet and goes to Pakistan. The magnetic hill has become a popular stop for domestic tourists on car journeys. The alignment
Day 3 – Leh to Nubra via Khardungla Top
After breakfast at hotel, Drive towards Nubra valley. Popularly known as Dorma or “the valley of flowers” via Khardungla Pass – the world’s one of the highest motorable road (5602 mts). On arrival, check-in to your Hotel.
Later in the afternoon, visit the Diskit Monastery and the giant statue of Maitreya Buddha which is the tallest Buddha statue in Ladakh.
Later visit the white sand dunes at Hunder where you can enjoy the Double Humped Bactrian camel ride (ride on direct payment basis). Overnight stay in Nubra.
DAY 4 – Nubra to Pangong Via Shayok to Leh
After early breakfast morning we proceed for a full day excursion to Pangong Lake which is 135 km / 4400m east of Leh crossing Shayok River & Remote Cluster of Villages.
Later we arrive at Pangong Lake, which is perhaps one of the most amazing lakes in Asia which changes its colour 4 – 5 times a day. After spending some time at the Lake observing this natural beauty you could also try some adventure activities. Late afternoon we proceed back via Changla Pass to Leh.
Changla Pass at 17500ft and driving via Durbuk and Tangtse villages in the Changthang region of Ladakh.
Overnight stay in Leh.
DAY 5 -INDUS VALLEY MONASTERIES EXPERIENCE IN LEH
Morning Village & River walks followed by breakfast. Day Excursion for local sightseeing of Hemis Monastery, Thiksey Monastery, 3 Idiots Rancho School, Shey Palace & Gompa.
Hemis Gompa: 40 Kms. from Leh, it is the wealthiest, best known and biggest Gompa of Ladakh. Its popularity stems from the major annual festival held here in summer. The festival is in honor of Guru Padma Sambhava’s birth anniversary. It also has the largest Thanka in Ladakh which is unfurled once in 12 years Hemis was built in 1630 during the reign of Singge Namgyal, an illustrious ruler of Ladakh. It flourished under the Namgyal Dynasty for the royalty favoured the Drugpa sect, which is managed the monastery. It is divided into two, the assembly hall on the right and the main temple on the left. The hall (Dukhang) is also used as “green room” by the dancers during the festival. The temple is known as Tshogkhang. The verandas have a surfeit of frescoes, among them the Buddhist “Wheel of Life” (Kalachakra) and the lords of the four quarters, besides the prayer wheel.
DAY 6 -Leh to Airport
After breakfast, check-out of the hotel and we transfer you to the Airport for your onward flight, the trip ends with extremely fond memories and an experience you will cherish for a life time.
