Overview
Jim Corbett National Park, the oldest national park in India, is still considered to be one of the finest forests of our country. It was established in 1936 as Hailey National Park to protect the endangered Bengal tiger. Located in Nainital district of Uttarakhand and situated in the lower Himalayan range, Corbett is an ideal combination of breathtaking and mesmerizing landscape as well as rich flora and fauna. Our exclusively designed photography tour at Corbett will give you opportunities to make splendid images of wildlife with a breathtaking background of the mountains in this pristine forest. We will explore the renowned routes which are mainly famous for excellent sighting of tigers, leopards, elephants and many other exotic wildlife species. Our tour is designed keeping in mind creating space and opportunity of sighting the major species and also staying deep within the forest in nature’s lap. World’s most elusive cats, the Snow Leopards or the Grey Ghosts of the mountains, have found a safe heaven in Spiti where residents are protecting it and have learned to live with it. The elusive and rarely sighted snow leopard is now frequently being spotted in snow-bound Spiti valley of Himachal Pradesh. What will delight wildlife lovers even more is the tendency of the endangered species to be seen in pairs, and sometimes along with their cubs. The success rate of snow leopard sightings in Spiti is over 50% which is the highest in the world. Elsewhere, wildlife lovers spend years searching for this elusive animal. The extreme environmental events like avalanches, snowstorms, landslides, and rock falls are common at this part of Himachal Pradesh state. The Snow Leopards has adapted their body to survive under such extreme climatic conditions Spiti is well known for its Buddhist culture and is home to several monasteries like the Key Monastery, Dhankar Monastery, Kungri Monastery and Tabo Monastery. You would also find the Trilokinath Temple here. The crescent-shaped Chandratal Lake is a breathtaking sight and is a must-visit attraction in Spiti Valley, along with Suraj Tal.
Day Wise Itinerary
Day 1

Good morning tea will be served and we will out for our next safari at Bijrani. An early morning start, will increase the possibility of sighting the Corbett queen. After exploring the wilderness of Bijrani, we have our breakfast and checkout from our lodge. We will start our drive to Dhikala pausing anywhere where there is a possibility of sighting some exotic birds. We will reach Dhikala by afternoon and check-in to our FRH and this will be our stay for upcoming 3 days. We will explore different routes in search of the primary species. Post safari, return to FRH, a discussion session and dinner. We retire for the night.
Day 3-4
Dhikala is a photographer paradise with enchanting landscapes of Himalaya in backdrop. Herd of Asiatic elephants can be seen grazing in grassland or else you can witness the King of the Jungle busy in hunting. We will spend the morning and evening safaris exploring the Dhikala range, winding through Sambar Road, Khinnanauli, Gairal and other popular landmarks, looking for a variety of species in this pristine zone. Late evening discussion and knowledge sharing sessions and retire for the night after dinner.
DAY 5
Wake up early morning and after tea we head straight for our last safari. After safari we drive back to FRH for breakfast, then pack our bags and get ready for check-out. We drive back to Ramnagar with lunch on the way. We then reach Ramnagar and will disperse by our preferred mode of transport, with sweet memories and scenic photographs.
Please note: Please book your flights keeping in mind the trip start time on Day 1 and end time on Day 5. In case you have to stay an extra day at Ramnagar/Delhi before or after the trip, the hotel booking has to be made by you. We suggest an overnight train or a shared taxi between Delhi and Ramnagar on the nights of arrival and departure.
